The national club on behalf of the 14+ member clubs annually procures and renews two insurance policies that cover the national club and the member clubs for various things. |

| Directors and Officers Liability Insurance |
|
The national club annually purchases and renews a Directors and Officers Liability Insurance policy that covers the national and local club directors and officers. The D&O policy is normally renewed each January based on current club info. |

| Event Insurance for our Driver Training / Schools and Motorsport and other events |
| |
The BMW Club of Canada and its member clubs operate a variety of Driver Training programs that are aimed at improving the driving skills of members. We have a national insurance policy and agreement with Jones Brown Insurance that is renewed annually and covers the basic component of our program. In addition each club may need to purchase additional event insurance to cover each Driver Training / School event they host. This insurance plan also covers various club events where the local host club may need to cover the event with insurance, such as a car/bike show or similar event.
To obtain a certificate of insurance for a specific event, you need to download, complete and submit an Event Insurance Order form to Jones Brown. Fees for the certificate may apply depending on the nature of the event. e.g. most school and driver training events have a fee that the local club will need to pay to Jones Brown.
The Motorsport and Event Insurance policy is normally renewed with Jones Brown each April based on an annual club update.
