 Driver Training Manual Update
 Overview and Purpose
The BMW Club of Canada and its member clubs operate a variety of Driver Training programs that are aimed at improving the driving skills of members.

The purpose of BMW CC driving schools is to instruct students in the art of advanced driving technique. Whether you have attended our schools before, or other similar schools, you can be assured that there is always more to learn and experience.

In order to properly and effectively instruct students it is imperative that we have a proper uniform student manual or guide to Driver Training events, as well as a suitable and uniform instructors guide that compliments the program of instruction.

The intent of the review and this web page is to provide basic information to aid the members of the Driver Training Manual review team.

Order of materials in the Table of Contents.

Various pieces of the manual need to be brought forward to be in the correct order for a student entering the driver training program.

Other sections of the manual may need to be moved to the back of the manual or become appendix sections so as to not confuse the purpose and the starting point of the manual.

By expamle, the general information about the various tracks that driver training my be hosted at should probably gathered as an appendix sextion at the back of the manual.

Section 3 on Driving Basics should probably be moved to become the stating point of the manual after the foreward and executive introduction.

This would then be followed by the current section 2 on Driving Exercises, the Car Control Techniques, the Understanding Theory.

Next would probably be the current Section 2 - Drivng Exercises, followed by Basic Track etiquette, then the School Summary.

In shorrt the Table of contents of the revised manual might look like this when done:
