  BMW Club of Quebec Invites you to watch the Club Races during the Fall Classic Weekend  
 

The BMW Club of Quebec will be hosting BMW Club Racers as part of the Fall Classic race weekend at LeCircuit, Mont Tremblant on the weekend of September 27-29. Come and watch the action and cheer on your favorite drivers including your own chapter members racing in front of their hometown crowd.

Other race groups include: Formula Ford 1600, Formula 2000 Jim Russell, Formula Libre, Vintage, and Production

Spectator fees are:

Friday practice-$10
Saturday qualifying & sprints-$15
Sunday feature races-$25
Weekend package-$35

No overnight camping at the track for this event.

Saturday night there will be a 7:00 pm dinner and reception for BMW at LeCoq du Montagne on Rue Principale. Tickets are $30 and should be ordered in advance from Phil Abrami abrami@education.concordia.ca.

Sunday includes the Fall Tour and Show and Shine at the Tremblant Club co-hosted by the BMW Club of Ottawa.

Dear BMW CCA and BMW CC Club Racers

Registration is now open for the Fall Classic Race Weekend at LeCircuit,
Mont Tremblant on September 27-29, 2002. Come and join us at this
completely refurbished world-class track nestled in the Laurentian
Mountains of Quebec ninety minutes north of Montreal and just minutes from
a four-star resort complex during the height of Fall color change. Be part
of a weekend of racing which includes several other groups including
Historic/Vintage, Formula Ford, and GT/Production. You can find a
QuickTime movie lap of the track at: www.clubbmw.ca.

The weekend includes three practice sessions on Friday, qualifying and two
races on Saturday, and warm-up and a feature sprint race on Sunday. No
noise limits will be in effect for the weekend beyond those set by BMW CCA
Club Racing. There will not be race fuel available for purchase at the
track. Tire service will be provided at the track by Pirelli/Touchette
Tire (514-381-1888). In addition, tires may be ordered from Talon Tire
(514-337-0833).

There will be a Saturday banquet and each application may request up to
four additional event passes free of charge for crew members if named in
advance. Otherwise, this will be a paid spectator event. Extra banquet
tickets cost $20 US ($30CAD).

A partial list of hotels and area accommodations is here. Please book
early as this promises to be a very popular weekend. An economical
alternative to hotels is for you to arrange a condo rental. For example,
Le Coq (800-425-3380 ) has a six person condo for three nights at $200
CAD total; Les Jardin (800-754-8736) has two six person condos for three
nights for $600 CAD total. Information about the resort is also available

Early bird registrations received prior to September 1 cost $400 US ($600
CAD). Registrations received after September 1 cost $450 US ($675 CAD).
Please register early. A full refund will be sent if you cancel in
advance or otherwise do not put a wheel on the track.

(You may also come early for open practice on Thursday for an additional
$350 CAD. And you can also register for another two races and practice
with the GT/Production racers for the reduced rate of an additional $245
CAD.)
