The Atlantic Motorsport Track (AMP) is located in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, Canada. This track hosts BMW driving schools as does Mosport and Le Circuit. The track was built in 1974. See their new web site at http://www.atlanticmotorsportpark.com/.
AMP is approximately 1.6 miles long (2.5 kms) and has 11 turns. The track has an elevation change of about 80 feet from the highest to the lowest points. The majority of the track can be seen from most viewing areas and the "tower" provides an uninterrupted view of the entire facility. |

Direction: clockwise.
| One of AMP's greatest challenges is the downhill "dog-leg" through corners 1 and 2, followed by the roller-coaster ride through corners 4,5, and 6. It is highly regarded as one of the most technical circuits in the country, and provides a challenging learning experience for both novice and advanced drivers alike. |

Here are directions (a couple of different routes) to AMP. I must caution you--I've not driven the route but apparently you just follow the signs... By the way, the AMP is 19 hours from Toronto! Route from Halifax
Route from Truro

Nearest station is the "Big Stop" at Enfield. FoodNearby services at Shubenacadie (a mic-mac name!) We typically have breakfast at the "Big Stop" Irving restautant. It provides home made bread and is open 24 hours. During driving schools we provide food at the track as there is not any catering at the track. |

Nearest acceptable hotel is "Inn on the Lake" at Fall River, half way between Halifax and the track. Most visitors stay in Halifax, at the "Cambridge suites". It takes about forty minutes to drive from Halifax to the track. |
