History
The BMW Club of Canada was originally founded in 1973 as the BMW Car Club of Canada and based in the Toronto area. The club was formally incorporated as a national body in July of 1980 when it also became the BMW Club of Canada so as to also offer motorcycles representation.
Now renamed to BMW Clubs Canada, it is a national umbrella organization that is comprised of a number of regional chapter clubs in most regions of Canada, that actively provide a variety of events for their members in order to promote the enjoyment and sharing of good will and fellowship derived from owning a BMW automobile or motorcycle.
The organization is run by a democratically elected board of directors that represent all of the member clubs.
BMW Clubs Canada is a founding member of the International Council of BMW Clubs.
